Shoplifting Arrest At Woodbridge Home Depot

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Newark man was arrested Wednesday and charged with shoplifting more than $1,000 worth of items from the Woodbridge Home Depot on St. Georges Avenue.

Will Jordon, 56, was stopped by store security at 5:45 p.m. with two Dewalt 20V max lithium ion batteries, each worth $598, as well as two shower heads valued at $196 each. He took the items off the shelf and then tried to return them for cash at the register, store security said. When a store employee refused to do the return, he tried to walk out the store without paying for them, store security said.
