Shoplifting Arrest At Woodbridge J.C. Penney Sunday

A local woman tried to shoplift from the J.C. Penney at the Woodbridge Center mall; needles were found in her purse, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Yet another alleged incident of shoplifting at the Woodbridge Center Mall: On Sunday, an Iselin woman was stopped by loss prevention officers at the J.C. Penney store inside the mall. Store security said they watched on CCTV as the woman walked into the dressing room with men's shirts and a woman's handbag. She then walked out of the dressing room with the goods in several shopping bags and tried to walk out of the store.

When Jacquelin Dellavalle, 29, of Iselin, was stopped, police said they found $490 worth of shirts and an $85 purse in her shopping bags, unpaid for. They also found hypodermic needles in her purse, they said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting.
