Shoplifting From Woodbridge Wal-Mart, Walgreens and ShopRite, Police Report
The same woman was arrested in two of the incidents, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Update: The charges against the woman were dismissed in court.
A woman was arrested this month for shoplifting from the Woodbridge Wal-Mart on Rt. 9 and the Woodbridge Walgreens on Green Street, police said. A man was arrested Sunday for shoplifting from the St. Georges Crossing ShopRite.
The woman was first arrested last Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Walgreens on Green Street after a store employee said she tried to walk out carrying $351 worth of items in a Walgreens shopping bag. She was arrested, charged with shoplifting and ordered not to return to the Walgreens.

Then just this past Sunday, she was arrested again, police said, this time at the Wal-Mart on Rt. 9. She was stopped by a loss prevention officer at the store who said they observed her on CCTV cameras taking women's clothing off the racks and putting them into plastic Wal-Mart bags. In total, she tried to shoplift $170 worth of items, police said.
In a separate, unrelated incident, also on Sunday, a Carteret man was arrested and charged with trying to steal grocery items from the Woodbridge ShopRite at St. Georges Crossing. Victor Rivera, 37, of Carteret was arrested and charged.
