Stand-up Comedian/Actor to Appear in Popular Kevin James Sequel "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" Opening April 17th
When Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 hits theatres on Friday, April 17th you can see him opposite Kevin James

For multi-talented Comedian and Actor Rob Magnotti, making a first impression has never been much of a challenge. For over two decades the New Jersey native has garnered laughs through his wide range of characters, stand-up, physical comedy, and celebrity impressions--from Al Pacino to Adam Sandler, Nicholas Cage to Ray Romano--and even received praise from legendary CBS Late Show host David Letterman after a “tremendous” appearance on the show. When Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 hits theatres on Friday, April 17th you can see him opposite Kevin James, and on April 24th you can see him perform live at Tuscan House in Tom’s River, NJ and Miami Mike’s Sport Zone Comedy Night in East Hanover, NJ on April 25th.
While attending Montclair University where he studied Acting, Film, Theatre, and performed in the Broadcasting Department’s sketch comedy show, Magnotti began doing on-campus open mic nights while simultaneously performing stand-up in New Jersey and New York. After only a short time, he became a regular in the tight knit New York City comedy club scene and his career took off.

Beginning as a Cast Member and sketch writer on FOX 5 TV’s “The Uptown Comedy Club” he quickly gained fans coast-to-coast, and his momentum would continue as his love for acting, improv and dance melded with his “rock the house” performances. Unlike most impressionists, Magnotti completely transforms not only his voice but his face and body language as well to the likes of President Obama, John Travolta, Johnny Depp, Jerry Seinfeld and many more. This ability would lead him towards further acclaim- appearing on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, a role in the musical comedy “Funny Business” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, an appearance on TV Land’s “Top Ten Show” and even touring some of the top casino theatres in the nation with the cast of HBO’s “The Sopranos” in “Comedy You Can’t Refuse”. He’s also been a special guest performer for Michael Buble at Town Hall, NYC, Olivia Newton-John (who had fun with Rob and his Travolta impression), and comedians Dennis Miller and Susie Essman.
But with all of his comedy appeal, one of Magnotti’s most memorable moments came when he was given personal direction by famed director Ron Howard during filming for 2001’s Academy Award-winning “A Beautiful Mind”-- in which he was a featured MP Officer.
