#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. #GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity - to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal. During this time of crisis, The Gateway Family YMCA is working to support our neighbors and meet urgent and essential needs in our community, and we need your help to continue these efforts. The Y has focused additional support and resources on our Residential Housing Programs. With support from generous donors, the Y is working to provide:

• Emergency Shelter for the Homeless
• 24-Hour Housing and Social Services for Over 300 Individuals, Families and Veterans Every Day in our Emergency, Transitional and Supportive Residential Housing Programs
• Food Pantry and Meals in Support of Those in Need
• Caregiver and Family Support for WISE Adult Day Services Families
• Virtual Wellness Opportunities for Members and Community Participants
• Outreach to Senior Members and Socially Isolated Individuals
• Opportunities for Members to Connect Through Guided Discussions
• Virtual Chronic Disease Self Management Programs such as Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring, Diabetes Empowerment Education Program and Healthy Weight and Your Child
• Vital Resources for Wellness and Community Support
• Resources and Program Materials for Swim Lesson and Youth Program Families
• Virtual Caregiver and Bereavement Community Support Groups
