Arrests After 'Caravan' Marches Through Perth Amboy Streets
A group of people marched through the streets of Perth Amboy Tuesday, along with 17 cars, and refused to disperse, said the Attorney General
PERTH AMBOY, NJ — Two young Perth Amboy men were charged by the state Attorney General with violating the stay-at-home orders for participating in what's described as a "parade and vehicle caravan" through the streets of Perth Amboy Tuesday.
State Police said the group gathered Tuesday and marched through the Perth Amboy business district. The group of people were wearing masks, but failed to maintain social distancing and were obstructing traffic, said police.
There were 17 cars total in the caravan, and the drivers were issued traffic tickets.

Davide Camilo-Chiolo, 21, and Luis Diaz-Dejsus, 21, both of Perth Amboy, were charged with violating the governor's emergency orders.
Camilo-Chiolo and Diaz-Dejsus were charged after they failed to heed warnings to disperse.

It is not exactly clear why the group gathered, or if this was a protest.
