Two High Schools In Woodbridge Make List Of Best In New Jersey

The schools were judged based on state tests results and how well the students were prepared for college, according to the rankings.

Two high schools in Woodbridge have been ranked among the best high schools in the state according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools list.

John F. Kennedy High School in the Iselin section of Woodbridge was ranked number 54 in New Jersey and number 1,897 in the nation.

Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health in Woodbridge was ranked number 37 in the state and number 809 nationally. Both of the schools were awarded silver medals.

The top school in New Jersey was Biotechnology High School in Freehold, which was ranked number 19 nationally. High Technology High School in the Lincroft section of Middletown and Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro round out the top three.

U.S. News & World Report reviewed more than 21,000 public high schools nationwide. Schools were judged “based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college,’’ according to the website.
