Upcoming Woodbridge DWI Checkpoints In March, April

Woodbridge police will be doing DWI checkpoints on Friday, March 16 and Friday, April 20, and then once a month for the rest of 2018.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Heads up for the thousands of people who drive through Woodbridge Township each day: Woodbridge police are planning two upcoming DWI checkpoints.

Woodbridge police will be doing DWI checkpoints on Friday, March 16 and on Friday, April 20, and then once a month for the rest of 2018. They will be stopping cars on all the state highways — Rt. 1, 9, 35, 27 and 184 — as well as busier county roads.

"Additionally we have additional patrols every weekend and during special event where increased drinking and driving is known to occur," said Sgt. James Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department Traffic Unit.
