Video Shows Car Engulfed In Flames On Parkway

The video described the incident as an "explosion," but it was not immediately clear what caused the fire.

A video shows a car engulfed in flames as firetrucks blew their sirens on the Garden State Parkway on Thursday.

The incident appeared to happen near Sayreville, presumably on the southbound side, near a sign that said "Atlantic City Expressway 89 Miles."

The video shows flames and smoke pouring out of the interior of the car.

Efforts to obtain information from the State Police were not immediately successful.
