What's The Scoop Voted Best Pizza In Metuchen
Everyone who attended won in the end: participants got to eat three and a half slices of pizza!

METUCHEN, NJ-- After getting a chance to sample pizza from all seven of Metuchen pizzerias, residents decided: What's The Scoop has the best pizza in the boro.
164 ballots were cast selecting a local ice cream shop as having the best slice in the boro. Although there were winners, there were no losers: this Patch reporter can say all the slices were great.
The other pizza joints that participated were D’Novo, Buon Appetito, Mangia Toscano, Joey D’s, Antonio’s, and La Rosa.

All seven pizzerias contributed pies to the Metuchen Pizza Throwdown and for $10, local pizza lovers were able to try all and vote on who had the best slice.
7 pizzerias might not seem like a lot for one town, but Metuchen is only 2.5-miles big-- and entirely inside of the comparatively massive Edison Township.

“This is a great way to highlight all the delicious pizzas in our town," said Jake Shulman of the Masons, and one of the event organizers before the event. "We hope to make this an annual event."
