Woman, 95, Drives Over Man, 98, In Woodbridge, Killing Him

Breaking: A 95-year-old woman accidentally ran over a 98-year-old man, killing him, Tuesday in a Woodbridge Township 55+ adult community.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A 95-year-old woman accidentally ran over a 98-year-old man, killing him, Tuesday afternoon in a Woodbridge Township 55+ adult community.

The accident happened Tuesday, Nov. 28 at around 2 p.m. at the Woodbridge Hills 55+ adult rental complex in Iselin. Police were called to 1 Sutton Place at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday.

A 95-year-old woman who lived in Woodbridge Hills said she was on her way to pick up her friend, a 98-year-old man who also lived there, and he was waiting outside his apartment for her. The man fell and she did not see him, and her car drove over him, Woodbridge police said.

Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges were filed by Woodbridge police.
