Woodbridge Black Lives Matter March Planned For Saturday
The march and protest is supposed to start at 1 p.m. Saturday in front of the Woodbridge Community Center, 600 Main Street.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This Saturday, June 13 there will be a march in support of the Black Lives Matter movement in front of Woodbridge town hall.
The march and protest is supposed to start at 1 p.m. in front of the Woodbridge Community Center (600 Main Street, Woodbridge, NJ 08863).
From there, they will march down Main Street and hold a rally on the steps of the Woodbridge municipal building, say organizers.

This is described by organizers as a peaceful protest and all attendees are asked to wear masks and abide by social distancing.
Supporters of an Elizabeth man who says he was beaten by Woodbridge police say they will be in attendance this Saturday. Woodbridge police say the man ran from police during the course of a burglary investigation on June 1, and tripped over some drainage pipes and into some bushes. An officer then tackled Qwason Campbell, 24, and Campbell resisted being placed into handcuffs by police, said Woodbridge police. He was charged with six counts of burglary and police say burglary proceeds were found on him. A use-of-force report was filed by the Woodbridge police department.
