Woodbridge To Build New Playing Field, Cypress Rec Center

This Thursday, Woodbridge Twp. will do a groundbreaking and start construction on a new level playing field and Cypress rec center.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This Thursday, Oct. 17, Woodbridge Township will do a groundbreaking and start construction on a new level playing field and rec facility at the Cypress Recreational Center in Port Reading.

The new level playing field and fully-accessible recreational facility and playground apparatus are specifically designed for challenged and handicapped children of all ages and abilities. A map of how the new field and rec will look is below, provided by Woodbridge Twp.

The project was funded through a $1.5 million Recreational Facilities Special Needs Improvement grant from the state of New Jersey.
