Woodbridge Buy Buy Baby Will Re-Open Nov. 18

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — In September, we reported that the closed Buy Buy Baby store on Rt. 1 in Woodbridge could reopen at some point this fall.

And now that is indeed coming true:

The Woodbridge Buy Buy Baby will hold a grand reopening at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, according to this announcement unveiled this week. It will still have the same name and sell all the same baby products, children's apparel and toys.

"Join us for an epic party as we throw open the doors to our brand-new buybuyBABY — it's time to celebrate our Grand Opening in style!"

Buy Buy Baby Woodbridge is located at 675 Rt. 1 south in the Iselin section. (675 US Highway 1S, Iselin, NJ 08830) If you register to attend their grand reopening on Nov. 18, you could win a variety of prizes, receive a gift card and get a gift bag.

In June of this year a company called Dream on Me Industries (a longtime supplier of baby goods for Buy Buy Baby) purchased 11 Buy Buy Baby store leases from bankrupt parent company Bed Bath & Beyond, as Bed Bath & Beyond went out of business.

Dream On Me Industries determined that those 11 Buy Buy Baby stores, ranging from Massachusetts to Delaware, were viable and could still turn a profit. One of them is in the Woodbridge location.

Here is the entire list of all 11 stores in the Northeast that will be reopening. Four are in New Jersey: Paramus, Bridgewater, Woodbridge Township and Cherry Hill.
