Woodbridge Celebrates Columbus Day This Sunday

There will be a ceremonial raising of the Italian flag at 10 a.m. Sunday outside the Woodbridge municipal building on Main Street.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Township will host its Columbus Day observance and salute to the area's Italian-American heritage this weekend, Sunday, Oct. 8.

State Senator Joseph Vitale, Mayor John E. McCormac and the Knights of Columbus Council #6571 welcome Christopher Columbus and Queen Isabella for the annual Columbus Day observance and flag-raising ceremony. There will be a ceremonial raising of the Italian flag at 10 a.m. Sunday outside the Woodbridge municipal building on Main Street.
