CSA members will get to pick their produce once a week when the farmer delivers the day's pickings. The season goes all the way into fall, and CSA members get more than their money's worth.

Another great addition is that members will be able to order fresh eggs and cheese to be delivered with the produce each week, Meeker said.

There's still room for more members, Meeker said. The cost for a family of four for a 32-week growing season works out to about $32.50. Individuals can buy a half share, and there's even arrangements where that can be split to save money.

The deadline for joining is May 15.
