Woodbridge Gas Station On New Brunswick Ave. Robbed, Police Say

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge police are still looking for the man who they say threw a brick through a glass door at the Delta gas station on New Brunswick Avenue in Fords last Wednesday, and then proceeded to rob the gas station.
The incident happened in the early-morning hours last Wednesday, Sept. 27: Before dawn, at 4:58 a.m. the man above threw a brick through the gas station door, got inside and then pried open the cash register with a crow bar and removed the money drawer, police said. He first tried to walk out with the entire cash register, but had some trouble:
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid- to late- 30s with dark hair and a mustache. He has acne scars on his face. His hair is shorter on the sides than the top. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark work boots that look like the leather was worn from them. He has a chain from his wallet to his back pocket. He is also left-handed as he was viewed throwing the brick with his left hand, police said.
