Woodbridge Gas Stations Robbed At Gunpoint, Man Charged
An Avenel man was charged with robbing two Woodbridge gas stations at gunpoint, and breaking into an office building in Iselin, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — An Avenel man was arrested last Tuesday and charged with robbing two Woodbridge-area gas stations at gunpoint, and breaking into an office building in the Iselin section of the Township, police said.
Adam Morssy, 21, of Murray Street in Avenel, was arrested Tuesday, July 11 after what Woodbridge police are calling an "intensive" investigation into a number of crimes in the area.
The first incident happened June 1: There was a report of an armed robbery, with a handgun, at the Fuel One gas station on Rt. 1 in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Twp.

Then on June 15, another gas station was robbed at gunpoint, this time Gas Star on Lake Avenue in the Colonia section.
Then on July 6, the owners of an office in the Hans Investment LLC building on Middlesex Ave. in Iselin reported their office was broken into and items were removed.

Woodbridge police say they recovered evidence from the crime scenes; they arrested Morrsy last week. He was charged with two counts of robbery, one count of burglary, one count of theft and one count of criminal mischief. The handgun, however, has not been recovered.
Morrsy was transported to the Middlesex County correctional facility awaiting a bail hearing.
