UPDATE: 17-Year-Old Woodbridge Girl's Death In Hotel May Be Drug-Related
Two men have been charged in connection with 17-year-old Rose Carlin's death; defendants are from Edison and Franklin.

Two men have been charged with child endangerment in connection with the apparent drug-related death of a 17-year-old Woodbridge girl, authorities said.
Rose Carlin, 17, of the Fords section of Woodbridge, was pronounced dead shortly after she was found at the Hilton Garden Inn at Raritan Center in Edison Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
William A., King, 22, of Edison and Andrew A. Lindo, 22, of the Somerset section of Franklin Township, were each charged with endangering the welfare of a child and hindering apprehension, both third-degree offenses, and a fourth-degree count of tampering with physical evidence, according to the news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan.

Bail was set at $75,000 for each man.
Police were called to the Edison hotel at 4:30 p.m Monday, and the teen was pronounced dead 11 minutes later.

Authorities said the investigation has shown the girl’s death may be drug-related, but a final cause will not be determined until an autopsy has been completed.
