Woodbridge Hires 5 New Police Officers
This brings the total size of the department to 195 officers.

Woodbridge, NJ - The Woodbridge police department has hired five new police officers, bringing the total size of the department to 195 enlisted officers to patrol a township of about 97,000 residents. There are no K9s units in the Woodbridge PD.
The new officers trained for six months at the Monmouth County police academy in Freehold. They will be assigned to regular patrol.
The five new cops will be sworn in Friday in a 9:30 a.m. ceremony at the municipal building, attended by Mayor John McCormac and Police Director Robert Hubner.
