Woodbridge History Teacher Officially Fired After 9/11 Conspiracy Links

Woodbridge, NJ - First, Jason Ali was removed from the classroom earlier this week. Now, he's been officially fired.

Ali, a history teacher at Woodbridge High School, was fired after PIX 11 News found he linked to 9/11 conspiracy theories on his teacher page on the school's website. On his page, Ali linked to a website called The Middle East Research Institute, which articles with headlines such as "U.S. Planned, Carried Out 9/11 Attacks" and "U.S Planning 9/11-Style Attack using ISIS In Early 2015 — Like It Did Using Al-Queda in 2001."

Woodbridge Board of Education attorney Jonathan Busch said Ali had been "terminated pending board approval," reported MyCentralJersey.
