Woodbridge To Hold Multi-Cultural and Earth-Arbor Day Celebrations
The day-long event will include music, dancing, and food; officials will give away free tree seedlings, plants and other green products.

Woodbridge Township will hold a joint, Multi-Cultural Day and Earth-Arbor Day festival on Saturday.
The day-long event will include music, dancing, and food. Mayor John E. McCormac will welcome 30 new U.S. citizens, who will take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America during a special ceremony, a township news release said. That oath will be administered by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, according to the news release.
As part of the Earth Day celebration, officials will give away free tree seedlings, plants and other green products.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodbridge Community Center, 600 Main St. A tree-planting ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. outside the center.
