The Middlesex County Prosecutor did not reveal how her office allegedly linked Klose to the 1984 rape of the Perth Amboy teen.
However, Klose is the same man who was arrested earlier this summer and accused of seeking a sexual encounter with an underage girl in exchange for cash. Prosecutor Ciccone said that in July Klose attempted to set up a sexual encounter over the Internet with an individual he believed to be a 14-year old girl. In reality, it was a police officer from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's office Special Victims Bureau and High Tech Bureau.
