Woodbridge Man Charged With Firing Gun In Metuchen Home

A Woodbridge man was charged with firing off a gun during an argument with a man this past Sunday at the man's home in Metuchen.

METUCHEN, NJ — A Woodbridge man was charged with firing off a gun during an argument this past Sunday in Metuchen, announced Metuchen police.

He did not shoot anybody, but Bryan Senatore, 39, of Woodbridge also hit the man with whom he was arguing with the gun multiple times, allege Metuchen police.

Senatore was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes, terroristic threats, aggravated assault and simple assault.

Police say he fired the handgun multiple times, struck the man with it and then fled the scene, throwing the gun into a Metuchen sewer drain.

The two men were arguing inside a home in Metuchen. Woodbridge police were called there Sunday after receiving multiple reports of residents hearing a gunshot. At the scene they located the victim, however Senatore had already fled the scene.

Officers were able to locate the .380 caliber handgun that had been tossed in a sewer a short distance away, said police.

With the assistance of Woodbridge police, Metuchen detectives were able to apprehend Senatore at his home in Woodbridge.
