Woodbridge Man Killed In Crash On I-80

A 52-year-old Woodbridge man was killed in a fatal crash on Interstate 80 in Lodi over the weekend.

LODI, NJ — A 52-year-old Woodbridge man was killed in a fatal crash on Interstate 80 over the weekend.

Michael Flynn, 52, of the Iselin section of Woodbridge, was killed Sunday when the SUV he was driving struck a concrete divider on I-80, NJ State Police told NJ.com, which first reported the death.

The fatal accident happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Sept. 23. The impact of hitting the divider made the SUV travel across all lanes of the roadway and then strike a guardrail on the right side of the road, police said.

Flynn was taken to nearby Hackensack University Medical Center. He was pronounced dead there at 7:14 p.m. Sunday.
