Woodbridge Schools Chief Sets Goals For Upcoming Year
Increasing students' test performance and community service participation are among the goals set for Woodbridge schools.

The Woodbridge Township schools superintendent wants to increase performance on high school tests, increase student participation in community service programs and integrate technology into daily teaching.
Those are among the goals set by Superintendent Robert Zega for the upcoming school year. The district posted the full set of goals on its website:
1. “Increase participation and performance on HS tests:

- “Increase the number of HS students who score a “3” or higher on AP tests.
- “Increase the number of HS students who score a 1500 or higher on the SAT.
- “Increase the number of HS students who score a 21 or higher on the ACT.
2. “Decrease the number of failing grades district-wide.
3. “Maximize the number of students who gain acceptance to their first choice college.

4. “Successfully integrate the use of technology into daily instruction.
5. “Cultivate alternate revenue sources for the district.
6. “Increase home-school communication and interaction.
7. “Develop more technology-driven curricula, especially iTunes University and STEM courses.
8. “Increase student participation in local community service events.
9. “Increase opportunities for students who do not plan on attending college.
10. “Increase professional development opportunities for teachers.
11. “Increase student participation in dual-enrollment courses.”
