Woodbridge Starts Drunk Driving Checkpoints Friday, March 18
You've been warned: Police will be out on Rts. 1&9, Highway 35, Rt. 27 (Old Lincoln Highway) and Rt. 184 (West Pond Road).

Woodbridge, NJ - Starting Friday, March 18, Woodbridge police will be conducting DWI checkpoints at various locations in the township once a month for the rest of 2016.
DWI checks will be on Rts. 1&9, Highway 35, Rt. 27 (Old Lincoln Highway) and Rt. 184 (West Pond Road), as well as busier county roads, said Sgt. Eric Nelson of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.
The DWI checkpoints will back on Friday, April 15, and then once a month for the rest of the year, on unannounced days.

As always, Woodbridge will add extra DWI patrols every weekend this spring and summer, and during special events where increased drinking and driving is known to occur, said Sgt. Nelson.
