Woodbridge Starts Winter Drunk Driving Checkpoints This Friday
As always, make sure to have a designated driver or the number for a taxi before you head out for the night.

Woodbridge, NJ – Starting Friday, Oct. 28th, and going through the holiday season, Woodbridge Police will be conducting DWI Checkpoints at various locations.
You can expect checks on Rts. 1&9, Highway 35, Rt. 27 (Lincoln Highway), and Route 184 (West Pond Road), as well as some busier county roads, said Sgt. James Chessere of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.
The DWI Checkpoints will begin on Oct. 28th and re-occur every few weeks until the end of the year.

As always, Woodbridge will add extra DWI patrols every weekend this winter, and during special events where increased drinking and driving is known to occur, said Sgt. Chessere.
