Woodbridge Summer DWI Checkpoints Begin Friday Night, July 20

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Woodbridge police department's annual summertime DWI checkpoints will begin this evening, Friday, July 20, the department announced to Patch today.
The Township will be doing DWI checkpoints beginning tonight and on multiple weekends from now through Labor Day at various locations throughout Woodbridge.
"We will be on State Highways 1, 9, 35, 27 and 184 as well as busier county roads," said Woodbridge police officer Joseph Angelo from the traffic enforcement unit. "We also have additional patrols every weekend and during special events where increased drinking and diving is known to occur."
