Woodbridge Wants to Dunk These Cops in Water

The Woodbridge Police Department is trying to get 3,500 ”likes” on their Facebook page.

And if they reach that goal, they’ll dunk these two Woodbridge police officers in cold water.

“We plan on doing more fun things like this to bring the community closer, and to show we are human,” the Woodbridge police officer who runs the page told Patch Wednesday. “We just want to have more followers, so we can reach more of our community. There are so many things that we do for the community and no one hears about them.”

“We would like to have more involvement from the community, also. A better relationship with the community and the police make it safer for everyone,” the officer added.

The Woodbridge PD posts thing such as meeting with students at the local high school, and warning people about public safety.
