Your Tax Dollars at Work: Garage Sale and Bulk Pick Up Starts This Month

The scent of spring is in the air, and so is the annual Garage Sale and Bulk Waste event sponsored by Township.

If you're new to town, it means that you don't have to get a permit to have a garage sale if it's the weekend in your area. And for old timers, it means you can get curbside bulk pickup like Woodbridge residents used to before we got all modern.

That also means you won't have to pay a $30 fee for curbside pickup of your bulk waste items.

Your taxes pay for it; you may as well use it!

To figure out where you fit in is a tad tricky. You need to find out what recycling district and zone you're in, and then look on the township chart to see when your area is scheduled for the special garage sale weekend and the curbside bulk waste pickup (which usually follows the garage sale by a day or more.)

Look here to find your street name and section of the township. Once you've got that, you can look on the following schedule to see when your garage sale and pickup dates are planned: 

Garage Sale, RD 4, Zones 1 - 4: March 31 & April 1
Bulk Pick Up Dates:
