• 19 Hospitalized After NJ Walmart Evacuated (patch.com) — Shoppers at the Walmart on Cooper Street in Woodbury were evacuated Tuesday after fumes in the building left 19 people coughing and needing hospital evaluation for minor symptoms. The store has since reopened, while Deptford police, firefighters, and county HazMat continue investigating what caused the irritant that briefly sickened local customers and staff.

Police say juveniles spilled into city streets, causing trespassing, harassment, and disorderly conduct issues, and they're vowing to charge anyone who helps promote similar events in Woodbury going forward.

• Woodbury boys soccer: Thundering Herd has potential for best season in years (nj.com subscription) — Woodbury's boys soccer team is gearing up for what coaches believe could be its strongest season in years, with a deep playoff run in South Jersey Group 1 as the goal.
