Abundant Life Reformed Church of Wyckoff has called the Rev. Christopher L. Jacobsen to serve as its second lead pastor. Pastor Jacobsen first Sunday leading and preaching will be Sunday, August 18, 2013. He will be installed on October 6, 2013, the Fifth Anniversary of the church, at 4pm in the church sanctuary.
Prior to being called to Abundant Life Reformed Church, Rev. Jacobsen served as pastor of the Reformed Church of Freehold, NJ. Rev. Jacobsen is a graduate of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and New Brunswick Seminary in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Chris is married to Sarah and the couple has a set a twins Holland Joy and Henry James born last November.
Abundant Life Reformed Church was formed October 5, 2008 by combining the congregations of Second Reformed Church in Wyckoff and Union Reformed Church of Franklin Lakes. There are ministries for both adults and youths. The Rev. Tom Larkin serves as the Minister of Congregational Care. All are welcomed.
