Band Says Thursday Show Will Be Like "Jersey Boys Meets A Bronx Tale"
Du-Wop tribute band plays hits from the '50s and '60s
The Bronx Wanderers are slated to kick-off the this Thursday, July 7. Vin Adinolfi, a founding member, was inspired in his childhood by Dion and The Belmonts, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and Lou Christie to name a few.
Adinolfi grew up in the same Bronx neighborhood as Dion DiMucci, and The Earls. He also counts Chazz Palminteri and Danny Aiello as fellow neighbors. In fact, he says, "It was Chazz who told me to name the group The Wanderers."
Together for 9 years, the band is currently working on material with Aiello, who occasionally appears with them.

When asked what a typical repetoire of a Wanderer's show is, Adinolfi says, "We like to say we are The Jersey Boys meets A Bronx Tale. I want the audience to be a part of what we do and sing along with us. I’ll even bring a few people on stage to help us do a song. When someone comes up and says they felt like they were transported back to the malt shop again, that is really special."
