Molly is approximately 5 years old. Humane Enforcement Agent John Rivera found her roaming the streets in Cliffside Park and quickly noticed her condition in which he immediately brought her to a vet where she was treated. The Veterinarian diagnosed Molly with Demodex, which is a form of mange.
Being brought back to BC Protect & Rescue, Molly has been under close supervision and monitored. She is doing very well and volunteers believe she is a Belington Terrier Mix. Her treatment of medication and care is going to last approximately 6 months in which will cause some financial bourdon on the shelter and volunteers. Volunteers are asking if the public can help offset the some of the costs that will be accrued. The cost according to the Veterinarian, who treated Molly, will be $700. Volunteers are trying their hardest to help raise the much needed funds for her. Molly is not spayed yet in which will be another cost once she has completely recovered and available for adoption.
If you can help with any amount of monetary funding, please go to BC Protect & Rescue’s web site at www.BCRescues.org where you can pay online. One can also send a check made payable to BC Protect & Rescue and mail check to BC Protect & Rescue, PO Box 1172, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. Please mark check “Molly” in the memo area.
