a check for $48,648 was presented to the CHCC Foundation which represents the profits de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop made in 2010.

Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently held a special luncheon for volunteers of de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop and Tea Room. After lunch, a check for $48,648 was presented to the CHCC Foundation which represents the profits the shop made in 2010. The contribution will go toward the CHCC Foundation’s Annual Appeal, which will be used to enhance The David F. Bolger Post-acute Care Unit. David Bolger from the Bolger Foundation in Ridgewood has once again offered his support in the form of a challenge grant. If the Center raises $2 million in two years, he will grant us a gift of $1 million. Pictured, from left, are Sandra Ondrof, Gift Shop Manager; Isabelle Kool of Midland Park and Lois Nieuwenhuis of Hawthorne, both long-time volunteers in de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop; and Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, CHCC President and CEO.
