Successful Spring Clergy Day at Christian Health Care Center
The Pastoral Care Department of Christian Health Care Center recently held a Spring Clergy Day for area clergy.

The Pastoral Care Department of Christian Health Care Center recently held a Spring Clergy Day for area clergy. The title of the event was “Strengthening Pastoral Leadership Through Emotional Intelligence.” The speaker was Rev. Mark E. Tidsworth, President, Pinnacle Leadership Associates, and Interim Pastor, Kathwood Baptist Church, Columbia, SC.
Thirty-four area churches were represented, and participants gave very positive
feedback about the event, citing that they came away with valuable information
that will be used to benefit their ministries.
“It was informative, well-presented, and thought-provoking,” said Carol Mutch,
Pastoral Resource Coordinator. “Of particular value to attendees was the
fact that Mark is a minister, and therefore, he understands the context and the
challenges ministers face on an ongoing basis in their congregations. They
could directly apply the insights he gave them to their ministry context.”
