Wyckoff Board Of Health

Yesterday I happily read that Ms. Carol Hertenstein was once again elected as the President of the Wyckoff Board Of Health.

Great news to have.

I met Carol during Sandy and had the great honor or working with her and learning from her. Yup us old guys can still learn a lot from a very good Teacher. And Carol is a great teacher.

Carol is one of the most dedicated ladies I have ever known. Having spent those days with her I saw what a great and open heart Carol has for each and every person she meets AND for every patient she attends.

I saw her move some real mountains to get many seniors placed for proper care, hot food and warmth. Carol's thoughts are always "how can I best assist the patient." Who could ask for more ? However Carol will drive herself for that "more". She spent many nights at CHCC with all the people who stayed overnight because of Sandy. Ah we must thank Mr. Brian Scanlon for also spending a night at CHCC on that mission, to give Carol a short break. That was very good of him.

Well Wyckoff could not have a better leader for the Baord of Health. This service is in very good hands and in very loving hands.

All the people who serve on the Board of Health are great. They provide a very valuable service to Wyckoff. Often unspoken or unheard, but they are there.

I have been very honored to know Carol and to work her in those days. She is just wonderful and we should all be very grateful that she takes up this position once again.

Bravo Carol ! My God bless you in all you do and in your next year as President of the Wyckoff Board of Health !
