Callahan's Giving Away Free Hot Dogs For National Hot Dog Day

Callahan’s Hot Dogs will give away free hot dogs today for National Hot Dog Day.

Customers can stop by the famous Bergen County restaurant for a free deep-fried hot dog between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Owner Dan Demiglio is holding the promotion to “bring back the popularity” of hot dogs over hamburgers.

Demiglio’s grandfather purchased the original Callahan’s in the 1950s. It closed down years ago but Demiglio reopened it in Norwood in April. It is located at 10 Broad St.
