CHCC Vice President Elected to Board of Directors of New Jersey Health Information Management Systems Society

Jennifer D’Angelo, Information Services Vice President/Information Security Officer at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff, was recently elected to the New Jersey Chapter of the Health Information Management System Society (HIMSS). The New Jersey Chapter of HIMSS is a consortium of health-care professionals who are committed to improving the quality of health care through the use of information technology within the health-care industry. HIMSS is a global non-profit organization that was founded 1961 and is headquartered in Chicago with additional offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia. The New Jersey Chapter partners with the Delaware Valley Chapter.

Ms. D’Angelo, who was nominated by a colleague who serves on the board, was elected to a four-year term effective July 2015. Her representation and contributions put CHCC in a unique position. The knowledge she will garner will be invaluable to the future of CHCC.

“It was an honor to be nominated and elected to the New Jersey Chapter of this organization,” said Ms. D’Angelo. “I also serve HIMSS on a national level and look forward to representing my state. CHCC’s unique breadth of programs and services spanning from senior life to short-term rehab to a full spectrum of mental-health services provides me with an exclusive position to contribute and represent a diverse range of health-care needs in New Jersey.”
