Christian Health Care Center Holds Successful 26th Annual Golf Classic

Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently held its 26th Annual Golf Classic

Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently held its 26th Annual Golf Classic at the Knoll Country Club in Parsippany, raising $132,500. Despite a brief morning rain shower, 169 golfers and 30 dedicated volunteers participated in the event.

Proceeds from the 26th Annual Golf Classic will go directly to support CHCC’s 2015 Annual Fund, which will be used for renovations and improvements within The Longview Assisted Living Residence. Kuiken Brothers Co., WB Mason, and Pharmscript were top Corporate Sponsors of CHCC’s Golf Classic.

The evening culminated with an awards dinner program and a successful live auction by auctioneer Bob Milligan of Morgan Stanley. Chris Sylvia, Project Manager with Concord Engineering Group in Voorhees, scored the lowest gross score in the tournament.

Each year, volunteers from the Golf Classic Committee organize the annual outing for CHCC. The committee is co-chaired by Rick De Bel of Lincoln Park and Edward Nieuwenhuis Jr., DPM of Wyckoff Committee members include Darcy Bickert, Maureen Braen, John Gunther, Bill Haggerty, Julie Lee, Bill Munn, and Gordon Stanley.

CHCC provides a broad continuum of high-quality, compassionate care, offering superior senior-life, short-term rehab, and mental-health services. As a non-profit organization, we deliver care to our community based upon the Christian principles on which we were founded more than a century ago.
