Christian Health Care Center Honors Veterans
We're honored to be able to provide care for so many veterans at CHCC.
Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently honored many veterans both living and working on campus, and employees and family members gathered to pay tribute to the many men and women who served in the United States military.
Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, CHCC President and CEO, welcomed guests and read more than 50 names of current residents and employees who served time in the military.
“We’re honored to be able to provide care for so many veterans at CHCC,” said Mr. Struyk. “The sacrifices that they made for our country are inspiring. We thank God for their service and are humbled by the stories of bravery, courage, and devotion to our freedom that they share with us.”

The introduction of Veterans Day dates back to November 11, 1918, after fighting had ceased in World War I. President Wilson recognized the day in 1919, and later on June 1, 1954, November 11 became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.
