“We were privileged and humbled to share this opportunity to honor two outstanding individuals,” said Mr. Moynihan. “Dave and Doug profoundly affected the lives of so many people in so many communities. Their philanthropic spirit has truly been felt around the globe, from underprivileged people in local communities to children in a Haitian orphanage to residents in remote villages in Malawi. Their tireless efforts, deep devotion, and genuine compassion have significantly impacted thousands of lives, and for this we are proud to honor them with the David F. Bolger Award for Leadership and Service.”
