The former 'Boomer and Carton' co-host was arrested Sept. 6 in connection with a Ponzi-like ticket fraud scheme.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Embattled radio host Craig Carton returns to the airwaves Monday with a new podcast and website.
Carton is the former host of the "Boomer and Carton" radio show on WFAN. He resigned Sept. 14 after he was arrested on charges he ran a "Ponzi-like" ticket scheme that allegedly defrauded investors out of millions of dollars.
Carton's new podcast, "Hello, My Name Is Craig" and a similarly-named website, will feature commentary from Carton on current events, sports and more. Content will be updated daily beginning Monday at 10 a.m.

“I’m so thankful for all my family, friends and fans that have stuck with me and reached out, as well as to the podcast’s sponsor Adorama, as we start on this new journey,” said Carton. “It feels great to be able to broadcast again and bring listeners stories of some amazing people who will talk about their journeys of determination, decisiveness, recovery, success and failure."
Carton has called the "legal issues" that are plaguing him "unfounded."

Carton, 48, Michael Wright, 41, of Upper Saddle River, and another person were charged with wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy in connection with the ticket scheme, the U.S. Attorney's Office for New York's Southern District previously said in a statement. The three allegedly used the millions they fleeced investors out of to pay off personal debts, including some to casinos.
Carton reportedly wired $133,000 to several casinos after having access to $700,000 from a hedge fund that he and Wright allegedly defrauded.
