Erratic Driver Was Allegedly High On Drugs On Route 208: Wyckoff Police
Fair Lawn man was charged after he struck a guardrail in Glen Rock, police said.

A Fair Lawn man was charged with driving under the influence of narcotics after police received several calls from people about the motorist driving on Route 208.
The vehicle struck a guardrail in Glen Rock and Sgt. Michael DeMaio and Patrolman Michael Finn stopped the vehicle after it exited at Russell Avenue, said Chief Benjamin Fox.
The driver, Aaron M. Jacobsen, 36 of Fair Lawn, was given a breath test, which did not reveal that he was under the influence of alcohol, Fox said.

A drug recognition officer from the Mahwah Police Department examined Jacobsen and determined that he was allegedly under the influence of narcotics, authorities said.
Jacobsen was charged with driving while under the influence of narcotics, careless driving, and failure to maintain his lane of travel and criminally charged with being under the influence of narcotics, Fox said.
