“CELEBRATE ISRAEL” SHABBAT EVENING SERVICE AT TEMPLE BETH RISHON

A “Celebrate Israel” Shabbat service will take place at Temple Beth Rishon on Friday, May 13th at 8 pm.  The music filled service will feature choral pieces and folk songs in honor of Yom Ha’Atzma’ut (Israeli Independence Day) and the State of Israel’s 62nd anniversary. Festivities will also mark Rabbi Sandy Olshansky’s ordination from the Academy of Jewish Religion.

Participants in the service will include the Kol Rishon adult choir, pianist Itay Goren and guest musicians. A dessert and coffee reception will follow the service.
