Franklin Lakes' Keith Bender Performs with Your Sister's Canary at Glen Rock's Natually Yoga

Your Sister’s Canary will perform live with TeenKula Idol winner, Emma Munro and Teen Kula Idol runner-up Keith Bender, at Glen Rock’s Naturally Yoga.   

Josh Edsall and Rob Natale, co-creators of Your Sister's Canary and natives of Glen Rock will perform on Friday night. Music style ranges from blues-pop/jazz-rock and doo-wop. They play regularly at The Bitter End in New York City.

Emma Munro of Allendale and Keith Bender of Franklin Lakes recently won the Teen Kula Idol vocal competition on March 18^th.  Munro and Bender were selected by a panel of professional judges that included R & B legend James "J.T." Taylor, former lead singer of Kool & The Gang,  Gina Tucci, A&R Executive from Atlantic Records and choreographer and dancer Jimmy Locust among others.   The mission of TeenKula is to inspire youth to make a positive impact in the community by promoting the work of Kula for Karma. Through outreach and collaboration, Teen Kula works to raise awareness for Kula for Karma yoga programs that serve children with autism and other developmental disabilities; children and teens with cancer; and at-risk youth.
