On Good Friday evening there will be a dramatic service of music, readings and prayers. The chancel choir of the Wyckoff Reformed Church will sing an anthem depicting the last hours of Jesus. This will be followed by a dramatic reading of an original script by James O’Connell. The script seeks to capture what some of the thoughts and feelings of those present for the crucifixion of Jesus might have been that night. This service will also give participant an opportunity to nail their sins to the cross. It is a power time of remembering and reflecting on the biographical material surrounding the dead of Jesus. It also prepares us for the joy of the resurrection on Easter Morning.
