Congregation Beth Shalom in Pompton Lakes will ring in Shabbat with a special musical service featuring the Charlie Jones Band and the synagogue's own Rabbi David Bockman on trumpet. The blues will start at 6 p.m., and will segue into Kabbalat Shabbat services at 6:45 p.m. All are welcome to this free event.
