NY93/94- THE NIKE BASE OF FRANKLIN LAKES
The Franklin Lakes Library is proud to announce the presentation of “NY93/94-The Nike Base of Franklin Lakes”. This lecture will be presented by Jack Goudsward and Richard Levine. This lecture will feature a seldom seen narrated home movie shot by the former base commander while the base was in operation. A display of Nike base related materials will also be on shown. Also included in this lecture will be a discussion of the Militarization of Mays/Campgaw Mountain. This lecture is of interest to teachers, students and people who would like to know more about this little know part of history of Franklin Lakes. The lecture starts at 7:30 P.M. at the Franklin Lakes Public Library.
